Prof. Heeger Nobel Prize Winner visited Magnesium Center

    On the morning of June 8, Prof. Alan J. Heeger, the Nobel Prize winner, from the Santa Barbara University of California, visited the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys, accompanied by Prof. Pan Fusheng, Director of Magnesium Center. In the conversation, Prof. Heeger investigated the current situation in the development and applications of the world magnesium and the research achievements of magnesium center, and made a high remark on the research work of the center.
    Prof. Heeger, who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2000, has made ??significant chievements in the field of semiconductor materials and polymer materials. He has published more than 750 papers, and has more than 50 patents. He was the member of the American Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Engineering.
