They said that CCMG of Chongqing University has strong R & D capabilities in the field of materials and processing technology of magnesium alloy, so the main purpose of this trip is to discuss the possibility of development of magnesium alloy components in aircraft seat with CCMG. Director Prof. Pan Fusheng introduced the advantages of CCMG in the alloy system, processing technology, test equipment and talent reserves. He said that CCMG is fully capable of developing a magnesium alloy frame structure of the airplane seat, and pointed out that CCMG and the Boeing Company has broad prospects in cooperation. Subsequently, two sides deeply discussed the cooperation, product design and performance evaluation. Dr. Donald S. Shih accompanied by director of Pan Fusheng and deputy director Zhang Dingfei visited the product exhibition room of CCMG.
