On April 17, 2008, Dr. Paul S. Maxim, Vice--president of Wilfrid Laurier University Canada, visited the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys accompanied by Prof. Zhang Dingfei, vice director of National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys. Dr. Paul S. Maxim investigated the research and development and industrial development of magnesium alloys in China and our center, visited the product research and development center and the exhibition room of the research center. Finally, he gave a highly evaluation for the development and industrialization of achievements of our center, and also expressed that he would like to strengthen the bilateral cooperation and exchanges in this field in the future.
